Hey you guys!! I am starting my first article with a review about my favorite book, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz.

At first, it was a bit difficult to understand and situate myself in the story because sometimes there's really long chapters like there's some with one or two pages. But never mind that, the moment I started reading this book, I was already absorbed by the story. I was able to imagine Aristotle's room and the movie that was going on in my head while reading the book had such a cute aesthetic, wow! The fact that the story takes place in the 80s made it even more easier to imagine and fall in love with since I really like this decade.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from the book :

I bet you could sometimes find all the mysteries of the universe in someone's hand.
The world has bigger problems than boys who kiss boys and girls who kiss girls.

(I'm actually not sure if the last one was in the book because it's been a while since I read it plus I read the French version of the book but this quote was everywhere when I searched the book on WHI)

To conclude my very first article, I 10/10 recommend you to read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe if you are interested by gay romance, the 80s and indie vibes (I don't know about you all, but I think there was strong indie/hippie vibes in the book). It really is a cute love story different from the typical romance books they make us read at school and you'll definitely want to read this book again and again!
