Hello lovelies!!
I’ve decided to make an article based on the music I’ve been listening to lately and I hope you find that we may share a similar taste or that you discover some new songs you’ll enjoy. I will link the YouTube video to each song so make sure you check them out :))

Get You – Daniel Caeser (ft. Kali Uchis)
R&B/Soul will forever be one of my favourite music genres and recently I’ve been ridiculously obsessing over this song!! I actually only discovered it not that long ago on a post-Drake R&B iTunes playlist but the chilled vibes remind me of classic 90s R&B. ‘Get you’ has very quickly become a new favourite song of mine.

I Like Me Better – Lauv
For some reason this song has been stuck in my head 24/7 and I keep finding myself humming to the tune subconsciously – it’s just so catchy. I first heard it thanks to Spotify a few months ago, but only now have I been wanting to listen to it a lot more. You know when you really love a certain song so you replay it over and over again? That’s exactly what I’ve been doing and I’m just waiting until I can’t stand it anymore.

Sorry Not Sorry – Demi Lovato
Honestly, Demi’s music isn’t what I tend to regularly listen to except maybe the odd song but her voice is truly incredible. When I first heard this, it was the background music on an Instagram makeup tutorial and straight away I knew it had to be on my playlist. ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ is Demi’s response to a bad breakup but the lyrics are so relatable and empowering. I’m obsessed.

Training Wheels – Melanie Martinez
Melanie Martinez is one of my favourite alternative artists because her lyrics are very honest and her music is so different to what’s usually in the charts. ‘Training Wheels’ is about a girl who's crush doesn't want to move on to the next stage in their relationship because he’s afraid of commitment, but she wants him to know it’s okay to fall in love. I think the meaning to this song is so important and in whole just underrated.

Adorn – Miguel
‘Adorn’ may have been released back in 2012, but I have yet to stop having it on loop. Even if you’re not a big R&B fan, this song is definitely something you should listen to! I personally love Miguel’s voice, I find it so captivating and the lyrics are beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone who adores romance songs as much as myself!
