I know it's been nearly a month, but I've been in shock too much to really say something. I could hardly listen to Linkin Park until recently. Chester was one of my heroes, and I can't believe he's gone.

Chester's passionate screams and heart-piercing voice gave me comfort when I was facing my own demons. I was practically raised on Linkin Park, my brother and I listening as much as we could. I could identify with Chester's struggles of addiction, depression, and personal struggles. But I know that millions of people around the world can identify with this. Linkin Park, Chester, have helped so many people find their voice while making badass music.

Probably most importantly, I feel for his close friends and family, as well as the band. I can imagine what it's life for them. I went through a best friend of mine committing suicide. But I can't imagine a husband or a father doing it. All love and support to Talinda, their children, and Linkin Park, as well as many others who were close to him.

One of the greatest modern rock stars is gone, but never forgotten. He and his legacy will live on with us.

Rest In Peace, Chester Charles Bennington.
