Day 2 of #thatswhatshesaid Challenge

Cleopatra was the queen of Egypt, although, sources claim she also had Roman and Greek blood. She could speak as many as a dozen languages and was highly educated in subjects such as philosophy, mathematics and astronomy. The throne was passed down to her and her brother when she was 18-years old and she fought her 10-year old brother, Ptolemy XIII for the throne. Her bravery, brain and beauty has sparked much interest by writers and poets.

Cleopatra died after someone misinformed her lover, Antony, that Cleopatra was dead. Antony immediately stabbed himself in the heart by his sword. Upon hearing about Antony’s death, Cleopatra also committed suicide by allowing an Egyptian cobra to bite her.
