Hey everyone! For my first article I decided to write about my first time at Sugarloaf here in Brazil.
As you can see, I´m brazilian and I was born in Rio de Janeiro. Rio is a beautiful city which people should visite once in a lifetime.
Dispite being from Rio, I´ve never been in Sugarloaf. And after 15 years I went for the first time. All the pictures in this article were taken by me.

Here are some things about it:

Sugarloaf Mountain (Portuguese: Pão de Açúcar) is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. Rising 396 m (1,299 ft) above the harbor, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar. It is known worldwide for its cableway and panoramic views of the city.
A glass-walled cable car (bondinho or, more formally, teleférico), capable of holding 65 people, runs along a 1,400 m (4,600 ft) route between the peaks of Sugarloaf and Morro da Urca every 20 minutes.

Foreigners

For not being vacations period neither summer here in Brazil I thought that it would´t have many foreigners at Sugarloaf. But I was wrong, I saw many foreigners as Americans, Argentines, Italians, Germans and Asians. I guess that they liked Sugarloaf because they was very struck by the beauty of Rio de Janeiro.

that´s it!
