Hi there! This is my skin care routine, that lets me stay glowing lol. A little disclaimer: I've never had acne so I don't know if this would clear it up or not, but so far it's doing a good job maintaining the current state of my skin.

All of these products you could literally find at Walmart or Target and they're really inexpensive.

- First I use a washcloth and wash my face with the "Biore deep pore charcoal cleanser". I don't have a spin brush but if you do I would highly recommend pairing the two.

- Next I use Nubian's African black soap to just make sure that my face is SQUEAKY clean. The benefits of African black soap include exfoliating and providing proper moisture balance for the skin. It is also said that it clears acne and helps with scarring. Now be warned, the brand I use can irritate the eyes at first (the same feeling of when you get shampoo in your eyes) but it's nothing damaging.

- I wash my face with warm water to relax my pores and clean them out, and then cold water to seal them. It also makes my skin feel tighter and more refreshed.

- Then, I go in with "Thayer's Witch Hazel Alcohol Free Toner". Witch hazel works as a natural astringent to balance out pH levels in your skin after cleansing. It is recommended you use an alcohol free witch hazel to avoid skin irritation or dryness.

- Finally, I use ponds dry skin cream to moisturize. I have combination skin, so it's oily on my t-zone and dry in some other places. This cream does a really good job of moisturizing my skin in all areas, without leaving me feeling oily or damp. I don't know what's in this stuff but it's pretty magical.

Now here are some of my lifestyle tips for maintaining good skin. You've probably heard all of this before, but it's very essential to your skin care.

- DRINK TONS OF WATER FR. Arguably, water flushes out toxins and helps your skin. You should be drinking a lot of water regardless but be sure not to overdue it. Over hydration isn't fun.

- GET A DECENT AMOUNT OF SLEEP. Look, I get it. With having to tackle the everyday struggles of life and with school starting, the idea of having a consistent sleep schedule may sound a bit idealistic. But your body needs time to regenerate from all the problems your day to day activities may throw your way. The average human should at least get 7-9 hours of sleep.

- STICK TO A STEADY SKIN CARE ROUTINE. Let your skin get used to a routine before throwing something else in. Although finding the perfect routine is all about experimentation, how do you expect to obtain the desired result if your skin is confused and overwhelmed?

- LET YOUR SKIN BREATHE. Girls and boys, if you are wearing makeup on a day to day basis, it's probably wise to give it a little bit of a rest. Makeup can clog your pores and/ or aid drying your skin out. If you have acne, although it's beneficial to dry out your pimples, drying it too much can cause your body to overproduce it's natural oils. Which is even worse.

- STOP TOUCHING IT. Bacteria from your hands can easily be passed onto the problem area. It can also irritate the skin even more. You're better off just leaving it alone, it'll heal with time.

That's it! I hope this helps you get SNATCHED skin for back to school and the upcoming fall season. Thanks!

XOXO,
Bri <3
