Hey! I would like to start this off by thanking WHI for giving me the opportunity to try out their new Articles feature! Also, a huge shoutout to Yasmin @HeyMyNameIsYasmin for mentioning me in her own article. I'm not doing a face reveal, hence the Autumn themed picture as the cover.

I feel like a lot of you want to know more about the person you're following, so I'll dedicate my first article to doing just that. I hope this will break the barrier between myself and you guys, my followers/fellow hearters.

My name is Kimberly, but you can call me Kim. I'm 16, turning 17 in a little more than a month, and I'm a senior in high school. It's a busy time for me as I'm preparing to take the SAT and getting my driver's license in about 3 weeks. I also have to worry about college applications but that's kind of a later problem. The last year of high school is going to fly by for me, but it'll be my last chance to rack up some college credit early. I'm an honors/AP student, so I'm taking some of the hardest classes my school offers. My favorite classes I've taken are AP Statistics, AP World History, and Psychology (I'm taking the AP version of it in the fall).

I live in the US, specifically in New York. No, I do NOT live in NYC, and I haven't been there despite being in the state. Yes, almost everything in the US when it comes to food is unhealthy. We have deep fried butter. Look it up if you don't believe me. If it exists, we'll find a way to make it unhealthy. Some of the food is still really good though, I'm not gonna lie. I also don't know why we don't use the metric system and why we have gaps in bathroom stalls.

Sports are pretty big in the US, although some sports are more prominent than others. We care a ton about football (like American football with Tom Brady and the Patriots, etc. NOT a fan of the Patriots to all my American followers reading (#deflategate), I'm just using them as an example) in the Autumn, hockey and basketball in the winter, and as always, America's favorite pastime baseball in the spring.

Besides all of that, some of the places in the US are fun to travel to. I've been to most places on the East Coast, but I've only been to California on the West Coast. I've gone to Boston, Philly, Washington, D.C., Myrtle Beach, Niagara Falls (on both the Canadian side and the Buffalo, NY side), and a ton more places that I can't think of off the top of my head right now.

I love music. I've been playing the piano since I was six years old, and I've been playing the flute since I was eight years old. I love Alternative music. Fall Out Boy, Halsey, Panic! at the Disco, Imagine Dragons, LANY, Green Day, Cold War Kids, HAIM, Lorde, Transviolet, and MisterWives are some of my favorite bands/artists.

Some of my favorite hobbies are writing (I'm writing this article now AND I have an internship with a local magazine), reading, shopping (my favorite stores are American Eagle, Garage, Hollister, and VS PINK), and hanging out with my friends.

I joined WHI in July 2014, so I've been on here for a little more than three years. At first, I only rehearted photos and I didn't take posting seriously until June 2015, and my account's been blowing up ever since. I don't consider myself to be popular on here, although I will admit that if WHI was just as popular as Instagram and Snapchat and people at my school were creating accounts and following people, I can bet that no one will believe me when I say I have 55.8K on WHI.

I hope that this article helped a little in terms of getting to know me a little better. My postcards are open to anyone, so feel free to say hi or drop a message! I'm always here to talk, and I always answer back. :) I promise I don't bite!

Until next time,
~Kim (@music_infinity)
